The Lake Zurich Lions Club provides scholarships to encourage students residing within the Lake Zurich Unit School District 95 boundaries to seek education beyond high school at an accredited college or trade school. The Lake Zurich Lions Club awarded two scholarships for 2023.<br>

            The Lion Fred Garlock Memorial Athletic Scholarship   $2,500.00<br>
            The Anetta Pagh Memorial Scholarship                  $2,750.00<br>

The Lake Zurich Lions Club awards its scholarships based on a variety of factors including, among other things, academic achievement, financial need, service to the community and overall personal achievement. No one of these factors is more important than any other and the ultimate determination will be made in the sole discretion of the Lake Zurich Lions Club. For example, depending upon the qualifications of other applicants, it could be that a "C" student with significant financial need and an outstanding record of personal achievement or service to the community might be ranked higher than a "straight A student".
 
Lions Club members and members of their family are not eligible to receive scholarships.
 
Applications for the scholarships are available at the High School Guidance Counselor's office.	</a>
